Emma Watson is the new face of Chanel perfume

Emma WatsonEmma Watson is to be the new face of Chanel perfume. The ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ star has won a two-year contract worth million to promote Coco Mademoiselle.

The 18-year-old actress will take over from fellow British star Keira Knightley, 23, when her contract ends this summer. A source said: “Emma has been excitedly telling friends that she is going to be replacing Keira.” Emma landed the deal with the French fashion house after signing up with top modelling agency Storm in an attempt to branch out from acting.

Chanel has been preparing Emma for her new role by dressing her for film premieres and parties. A source said: “She has been slowly integrated into the Chanel brand. Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up.

Catherine Zeta-Jones’ main priority isn’t her acting career, it’s her husband, Michael Douglas, and their two young children.

Zeta-Jones, who won a 2003 supporting actress Oscar for her role in “Chicago,” married Douglas in 2000. They have two children ¡ª son, Dylan, 6, and daughter, Carys, 4 ¡ª and live much of the year on the island of Bermuda.

The couple also have homes in Manhattan and Majorca, Spain, and a farm in Quebec, Canada. “Some people collect art,” she says. “We collect houses.”

Zeta-Jones, whose movie credits also include “Ocean’s Twelve” and “Traffic,” isn’t about to quit acting just yet. In the upcoming dramedy “No Reservations,” she portrays a chef whose life takes a new turn when she becomes the guardian of a 9-year-old niece. She’s also wrapped up “Death Defying Acts,” about Harry Houdini.
