R&B singer Beyonce took top honors in a list of best-dressed celebrities of 2007, while bald Britney Spears won the booby prize for most shocking style moment after shaving her head.

People magazine’s annual best- and worst-dressed issue hits newsstands on Friday featuring numerous Hollywood stars, all given a nickname to describe their taste in couture.

Beyonce, 26, was dubbed “The Showstopper,” while actress Cameron Diaz walked into the top 10 as “The Legs,” and actress Katie Holmes, who is married to Tom Cruise, graced the list as “The Classic.”

Suri Cruise is to become a star in her own right after she was signed as the new face of Baby Gap, according to reports.

Proud parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were reportedly offered a lucrative modeling contract by the clothes chain for their 16-month-old daughter to front an upcoming campaign.

Suri’s first photoshoot was in October 2006 when she made the front cover of Vanity Fair with her parents. The pictures were shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Actress Julia Roberts will be honoured at the 22nd American Cinematheque award.

The American Cinematheque Award annually honours ‘an extraordinary artist in the entertainment industry who is fully engaged in his or her work and is committed to making a significant contribution to the art of the motion pictures’.

The Oscar winning actress will be presented the award at the Beverly Hilton’s International Ballroom on October 12, Variety magazine reports.

The award ceremony will be broadcasted exclusively on AMC in December.

The 39-year-old actress presented the award to actor George Clooney last year.

Since its inception in 1986, the non-profit committee has given awards to several actors, directors and writers including actor Al Pacino, actress Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Tom Cruise and others. (ANI)

Hollywood movie star Nicole Kidman has denied reports that she is pregnant after arriving home in Australia with country crooner husband Keith Urban to start work on a new film.

The claim that she was expecting Urban’s child, published in Britain’s News of the World tabloid, was dismissed as “100 percent not true” by Kidman’s publicist, Australian media reported Monday.

Kidman will start working with Australian director Baz Luhrmann this week on location in the country’s remote and sparsely populated “outback” on a romantic adventure epic entitled “Australia”, which co-stars Hugh Jackman.

The 39-year-old Oscar-winning star of “The Hours” and Luhrmann’s “Moulin Rouge” has two children, Isabella and Connor, who she adopted with her former husband, actor
Tom Cruise.

Urban, who married Kidman in an elaborate ceremony in Sydney last year, is due to start a concert tour of Australia next month.

The pair, who have bonded over their love of fashion and motherhood, are planning to combine their skills and passions by designing their own range for children.

A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “They are both really excited about this new project. Katie recently sketched out some designs for a party dress for Suri’s first birthday and Victoria saw there was the potential there for the two of them to come up with some great designs.

“As they are both mothers who love fashion, it couldn’t have been more ideal for them.”

Victoria, 32 - who is mother to sons Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, six, and Cruz, two - already has her own jeans and designer sunglasses range.

Katie, 27, and husband Tom Cruise’s daughter, Suri, will turn one next month.

Since Victoria and David announced their upcoming move to Los Angeles, Victoria and former Dawson’s Creek star Katie have become very close, attending fashion events together. Source: News.com.au
