Courtney Love wants to launch perfume
Courtney Love wants to launch her own perfume but is worried nobody wants to smell like her.
The former Hole singer - who has battled drink and drug addiction - wants to lay to rest her rebellious image and reinvent herself before she brings out the signature scent.
Courtney said: “These days stars make money by marketing their own clothes and fragrances but I’ve been reading a lot of books and attending a lot of marketing conferences before I go down that route. No one wants to smell like Eau de Controversy!”
Courtney, the widow of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, has turned to Buddhist chanting, Pilates and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to help clean up her life.
She regularly sees a therapist and drug addiction specialist, and relaxes by watching her 15-year-old daughter Frances Bean play soccer.
Courtney - who is about to release her first new studio album, Nobody’s Daughter, in four years - said: “I’m really just a Beverly Hills soccer mom who wants to be a real estate mogul and design clothes.
“I know how to play the game now. I have to navigate the system, follow the rules and stop being a rebel. I can’t afford to be a 43-year-old rebel.”

Mandy Moore plans peaceful life in France
American actress/singer Mandy Moore is planning to move to France in a bid to lead a peaceful life.
The ‘License To Wed’ star recently revealed that she is contemplating a shift to the European country to escape all the media attention.
Moore said that she likes the idea of learning another language and hopes to make France her new home by the next year.
“I want to live in France and learn to speak French. I think I’m going to do it in the next year or so. I’m just going to move away and no-one will find me,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
Meanwhile, Moore has further claimed that she prefers keeping away from booze and drugs. The 23-year-old revealed that she preferred just a glass of wine to be in ‘control’. “I have a better time enjoying one glass of wine and just being relaxed. It’s a bit of a control thing - I don’t like not being in control of my words,” she said.

Sheryl Crow Adopts Baby Boy

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, who had breast cancer surgery early last year after a breakup with champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, said on Friday she had adopted a 2-week-old baby boy. The Grammy-winning recording star, known for such hits as “All I Wanna Do,” “Soak Up the Sun,” and “If It Makes You Happy,” announced the adoption with a short message to fans posted on her official Web site.
“His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time,” she wrote. Scooter is the nickname of her longtime manager and friend, Steven Weintraub.
No other details about her newly adopted son were revealed, but Crow’s publicist said the child was born in the United States.
Crow, 45, postponed a North American concert tour in February of last year to undergo “minimally invasive” surgery for breast cancer. She announced during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in October that she was cancer-free.
The singer’s surgery came about a month after she and seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong, himself a cancer survivor, broke off their engagement, ending a high-profile two-year relationship.
