Mel B’s record revenge

June 23rd, 2008

Mel B is set to get her revenge on ex-lover Eddie Murphy on her new solo album. The former Spice Girls singer, who has a 14-month-old daughter Angel Iris with the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ actor, has penned a hate-filled track to vent her frustration at Eddie, who she claims rarely sees Angel.

She told Britain’s New! magazine: “The working title on my new song is ‘Beverly Hills C**k’ because that is what he is. He never bothers with his daughter. I mean, what kind of man is that?” However, Mel has admitted she may have to tone down the lyrics because Eddie’s legal team have asked to hear the song before her LP is released. Read more »

Kirsten Dunst & Her Wild Late-Night Parties

September 17th, 2007

Kirsten Dunst has infuriated her London neighbors with her wild late-night parties.

The 25-year-old star - who has moved into a £2 million house in Islington while she shoots her new movie ‘How To Lose Friends and Alienate People‘ - has been holding wild gatherings in her temporary north London home.

Now three families have “had enough” of their A-list neighbor disturbing the peace after pub closing times and have reportedly complained to Islington Council.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: “Kirsten isn’t very popular in Islington at the moment. She’s started spending nights in the local pub by herself chatting to the locals.

“When closing time comes she invites them all round to her house to continue the party. The noise levels and people coming and going at all hours is really getting to her neighbors.

“They’ve had enough and apparently three families have written a petition to the council in the hope they’ll take some action.”

Jessica Biel Loved All The Male Attention

September 17th, 2007

Jessica Biel loved being the only female star in her new movie because she got all the male attention.

The sexy actress, who is dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake, was glad there was no female competition while filming ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry‘ with Adam Sandler and Kevin James.

She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “You definitely get a lot of attention. All of the guys became my ‘older brothers’ - they picked on me every day! When you’re the only girl there’s no competition - you’re just one of the guys.”

Jessica, 25, also revealed she has to think twice before picking her nose in public, because she never knows whether there is a photographer waiting to take her picture.

The beauty said: “It just feels so violating. To walk out of my house in the morning with the dogs, someone’s hiding behind the bush with a camera and someone’s hiding over there with a camera and there’s someone with a video camera and I’m thinking, is my underwear sticking out of my pants? If I reach back there will it look like I’m picking my wedgie? Don’t pick your nose - just walk! It’s like being stalked - but then fame is something you started yourself.”

Paul Sculfor Overwhelmed By Jen’s Celebrity Status

September 17th, 2007

Jennifer Aniston’s ex-boyfriend Paul Sculfor was overwhelmed by her celebrity status, says his former lover Lady Victoria Hervey.

British-born model Sculfor, who recently split from Aniston following a two-month fling, struggled to cope with the attention surrounding their relationship, claims Hervey.

Hervey told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “He was given the keys to her house and at one point had to spend a week without leaving it as up to 50 paparazzi at a time were outside waiting to get a picture of the two of them together.

“We’re good friends and I was one of the first people he told about Jennifer. He said she made him happy but he was having to keep under the radar. One minute he’s living a normal life and the next he’s over every magazine and television channel in America.

“He realized the pressure of fame - it’s something you want until you actually get it.”

Angelina Jolie and Zahara Jolie-Pitt Sighting in Chicago

Angelina Jolie and her long-term partner Brad Pitt - whose relationship is rumored to be going through a rocky patch - are reportedly planning to travel to the African country to find a fourth disadvantaged child they can give a home to.

The couple - who are already adoptive parents to six-year-old Cambodian boy Maddox, Vietnamese son Pax Thien, three, and two-year-old Zahara, who was born in Ethiopia - believe another baby will strengthen their relationship and help Zahara feel more secure within the family.

A source close to the couple - who also have a 14-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh - told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: “Brad and Angelina have made no secret of the fact they are keen to extend their rainbow family.

“Angelina, in particular, feels very strongly that while Shiloh will grow up seeing the family resemblances between herself and her natural parents, and Maddox and Pax will have a connection through their birthplaces, Zahara has no such close-knit bond. Brad and Angelina hope that by finding a brother or sister for her, it will help Zahara feel more comfortable and happy in her own skin, and also bring them closer together.”

The couple are said to be planning to visit Ethiopia’s Wide Horizons agency, the same place that introduced them to Zahara, in November.

Kate Moss Britain in the 21st century is best represented by model Kate Moss, according to a new survey.

But 33-year-old Moss, who was notoriously photographed allegedly taking cocaine, best sums up modern Britain, along with multiculturalism and “chavs”.

The survey also recealed that the Burberry trench coat is Britain’s most iconic fashion item, while 54 per cent said Topshop is their favourite brand.

The survey appears in the September issue of the magazine.

With Race Row Still Rumbling, New British ‘Big Brother’ Kicks off

June 16th, 2007

Shilpa Shetty
A reality television show which sparked a racist bullying row involving Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty was back on air for a new series Wednesday.

But moments before the eighth series of “Big Brother” got under way, broadcasters Channel 4 were forced to screen details of the “significant failings” detected by communications watchdog Ofcom over the row.

In January, Ofcom received nearly 45,000 complaints about alleged racist material which centered on Shetty’s treatment at the hands of fellow contestants on the celebrity version of the show.

She was insulted by fellow stars including Jade Goody — a former reality TV celebrity whose profile has plummeted since — and former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd.

Shetty also rowed with fellow contestants when she cooked a chicken and they made derogatory comments about the eating habits of Indian people.

As a punishment for the way it handled the row, Channel 4 had to show the statement, which concluded by saying: “This ensures that the largest number of viewers will be made fully aware of the seriousness of Channel 4’s failure to comply (with Ofcom’s code).”

The code aims to protect viewers from potentially offensive material.

“Big Brother” is a massively popular show with versions worldwide where viewers chose a winner from among contestants whose activities are broadcast around the clock by cameras inside their studio house.

Shetty, 31, won the celebrity version earlier this year for what many viewers saw as a dignified performance in the face of alleged racist bullying.

The latest, non-celebrity version features an all-female cast of contestants and house rules have been tightened to warn against bullying and offensive remarks on the basis of race, religion or sexuality.

“Big Brother” also came under fire in Australia earlier this month when it emerged that a contestant had not been told of the death of her father.
