Angel Locsin, second most sexy woman in the world

Angel Locsin, after all, has been voted the second most sexy woman in the world, just after that other heavenly looker, Angelina Jolie. When rumors proliferated of the Filipina beauty unclothed, searchers far beyond that country’s borders beat a hot path to the Web. Interest in the scandal and Angel’s pictures surged. Lookups for “angel locsin video” rose 625%. Other, more descriptive searches, raced upwards, too. But we’ll just leave it at that.

Angel Locsín (born Angélica Locsín Colmenares on April 23, 1985), is a popular Filipina television and film actress, commercial model, film producer, fashion designer, and product endorser who was introduced in GMA Network’s youth-oriented program, Click. Locsin rose to prominence after being cast as one of the lead stars in the fantasy-themed television series Mulawin in 2004. Soon after, she starred as the superheroine Darna in the TV adaptation of the popular Mars Ravelo comics hit. Locsin top-billed in several chartbusting films and is known as the screen love interest of Richard Gutierrez and Dennis Trillo. In mid-2007, Angel left her mother studio, GMA Network and signed an exclusive contract in ABS-CBN despite her booming career in GMA. She told in an interview with Boy Abunda that she is no longer happy in GMA and she is looking forward to have a better career in ABS-CBN.

Cosmetics giant L’Oreal has been reprimanded by British advertising watchdogs for its ‘misleading’ mascara advertisements fronted by sexy Spaniard Penelope Cruz.

The TV and magazine adverts promoting L’Oreal’s new Telescopic mascara claim the product boosts the length of women’s eyelashes by up to 60 per cent.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) was forced to step in after it was discovered the acting beauty had been wearing additional false eyelashes for the shoot.

But the French make-up firm has defended itself against the accusations, claiming it is “common practice” to use fake lashes.

A spokesman for L’Oreal says, “It is common industry practice to make use of some artificial lashes in order to ensure a consistent lash line under filming or shooting conditions - the ASA had previously accepted on more than one occasion that thisindustry practice was not misleading.”

L’Oreal has been ordered to clarify the discrepancy and place a disclaimer on all future Telescopic advertising campaigns.(WENN)

An application has been made to register a trademark for a line of cosmetics in the name of the Ocean’s Twelve star.

‘Catherine could be the most successful in a long line of celebrities who have launched their own beauty products,’ a source tells the Daily Express. ‘Most women would love to look as good as she does.’

As well as a signature scent, Catherine could also put her name to haircare lotions, suncare products and deodorants.

The 37-year-old mother-of-two is already the face of cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden and has promoted some of its best-selling perfumes, including Provocative Woman.

Last year, celebrity fragrances accounted for 23 per cent of the top 100 women’s fragrances in the US.

Stars who have released their own perfume include Sarah Jessica Parker, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Victoria and David Beckham.
